The Bible

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17

The Bible is the most enduring book of all time. Written by approximately 40 people over 1,500 years, one would expect a disordered, fragmented whole. Yet, inspired by the Holy Spirit, each individual book becomes a unified part of the Story of God through the ages. It provides an important history of the people of God as well as poetry and prophecy, law and wisdom.

The Bible is a living opus – a love letter from the heart of God Himself. Every time we read the Scripture, we are changed. Every time we read the Scripture, we become more aware of who God is and who we are. Every time we read the Scripture, we are drawn deeper into this divine relationship.
